MILAN – January concluded with the third strategic and operational meeting among Angola, Cameroon, Congo, and Uganda, the countries involved in the Africa Nerazzurra project, co-financed by the UEFA Foundation for Children.

The objective in the coming months will be to enhance children’s resilience through sport, building upon the specific expertise of each local partner and Inter’s experience in the sports-educational field. In this regard, the project in Congo, where Inter Campus works alongside Alba Onlus involving 180 children and 7 coaches, will aim to further explore the role of football in fostering integration and education, which are relevant social issues in the Lubumbashi area.

The meeting also served – as a surprise – to introduce our partners to the UEFA representatives who have been supporting us behind the scenes for several months and who wished to personally greet the Inter Campus delegations active on the project. It was a quick exchange before the meeting began, but undoubtedly very motivating for the development of the work.
