MILAN – We are all equals on the pitch, so why can’t it be like that in our daily lives? This is the question we are asking the children taking part in the Show Racism the Red Card project, exploring how crucial sport can be in fighting discrimination.

And that does not only apply to the Inter Campus programs around the world, like projects encouraging ethnic integration in Israel and Palestine, collaboration between different groups in Africa, dialogue between divided societies or inclusivity among men and women; it also applies to the role we have individually within our own community. Anyone who goes out in the Nerazzurri colors or another team’s jersey is a witness and a protagonist in shaping the society of tomorrow. Within this vision, there is no place for discrimination: not today, not ever.

Inter Campus, alongside other Italian and international clubs, is co-funding the #DiversityWins project in collaboration with the European Union and the European Football for Development Network.
