Inter Campus, together with other important European clubs, continues to spread a significant message in schools, in collaboration with EFDN and thanks to a campaign promoted by the European Commission.

“I think it’s important to respect my class-mates because we’re all different but we all have the same rights.” – “We didn’t know our class-mate was so good at drawing. We found out thanks to these meetings and now we can ask her for help if we need it.”

These are just some of the direct testimonies from over 300 boys and girls who took part, along with their teachers, in lessons at two primary schools in Sesto San Giovanni.

Four meetings were held for each class during which, through images and videos, practical games and direct testimonies from Inter Campus countries, awareness activities were carried out on a topic that is unfortunately still very current worldwide: racism and discrimination, in life as in sport.

In the final meeting, each pupil received the red card, symbol of the campaign, the workbook with the games played together, and the certificate of participation. The latter was received only after signing a “symbolic contract”, in which each participant promised to commit to being inclusive and welcoming towards others.

The program will also continue in the first half of 2022 in other Lombardy schools, because we are “Brothers Universally United”!
