Inter Campus Nepal, regularly back on the pitch

Nepal’s recovery from the pandemic has had, and continues to have, a path that is at times slow and discontinuous, characterized by an alternation of periods of respite with periods of severe tightening of restrictive measures.

Inter Campus’ activities, linked to two state schools in Kathmandu—the Beersheba school and the Jeevan Tara school—have also been forced to follow this trend. In the recent period, however, we have managed to achieve a certain regularity in our sports and educational offerings, a continuity due precisely to a general improvement in the country’s health conditions and a generalized reopening of activities. The fight against gender discrimination, the main social goal of the project and of our local partner Apeiron ODV, which has been working on these issues for many years, requires constancy and regularity in commitment and intervention, and it is for this reason that we can only look toward the future of the project with a smile.

The boys and girls of Kathmandu have finally returned to training every week, in alternate groups and following safety protocols, but with the same enthusiasm and desire as always, the same displayed on the pitch by the local coaches.
