On 10 December 1948, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights was adopted by the United Nations General Assembly. The right to life, dignity, and liberty, all fundamental rights that the Declaration attributes to human beings from the moment of their birth. This year the theme is “Recover Better – Stand up for Human Rights”, because safeguarding these rights is the responsibility of all of us.
The United Nations considers sport as a means to promote and facilitate the dissemination and culture of these rights. Through play and participation, discrimination and exclusion are combated, and instead, processes of peace, development, and integration are fostered.
These are the principles that have always guided Inter Campus’ work, especially towards children around the world, with whom we want to celebrate this day, so that the rights of each of them are respected.
