MILAN – The team jersey is one of the strongest and most important symbols of belonging, and thanks to the partnership with DB Schenker, it has never stopped reaching the communities where Inter Campus operates, bridging the distance and giving children the thrill of feeling close to us, part of the same family, even if physically and forcibly far apart. This is an extraordinary commitment that our Logistics Proud Partner honored during a particularly complex season. “Everybody at the company,” Vincenzo Mandelli, Vice President Air Freight Italy, tells us, “works with great passion and pride on this project, to contribute with Inter Campus to winning the Scudetto of solidarity every year, which shines even brighter when combined with the sporting one! After all, for us Air Freight Forwarders, too, “El Mundo Es un Balón,” to quote the title of the latest Inter Campus documentary.” The enthusiasm that characterizes them is also revealed in the words of Giuseppe Rotondi, Air Freight Export Manager: “As a Nerazzurri fan, I never would have imagined experiencing such intense emotion for a well-deserved Scudetto obtained in a season so difficult for all of us; yes, I’m not ashamed to say that I celebrated like a child, like that boy who already had the Nerazzurri colors painted on his chest when, at 13, he cheered for the Scudetto of the young Inter team of the great Lele Oriali and “Spillo” Altobelli. But the greatest victory is the satisfaction of allowing so many children, even during the severe crisis caused by the pandemic, to rejoice and smile with a ball, wearing the legendary Nerazzurri jerseys; despite the few flights available, the various lockdowns that particularly affected some countries in need of help, we always managed to meet requests, and every successful shipment was like winning a derby, the championship of our children!”
