The country continues to experience a period of significant instability, marked by regional tensions and an economic crisis that offers no respite to families. In this complex context, even the simple right to play can become a privilege.
Our activities continue thanks to the extraordinary dedication of local coaches who, despite the difficulties, voluntarily dedicate their time each week to provide a safe and educational space for the Inter Campus children. Their presence goes beyond football: it is a gesture of care and responsibility towards the younger generations. For many of them, who as children did not have the opportunity to experience play peacefully, offering this opportunity today represents a conscious and deeply meaningful choice.
Through football, we teach not only technique or rules of the game, but values such as respect, collaboration, trust, and sharing. The field becomes a space of normalcy where children learn to be together, to listen, and to grow as a group. In a fragile context like Shatila, educating through sport means planting small but fundamental seeds of the future, offering children an experience that strengthens self-esteem, a sense of belonging, and hope.
