The Inter Campus Angola mission has concluded, focusing on monitoring the active units across the country’s 5 provinces (Luanda, Benguela, Icolo e Bengo, Cuanza Norte, and Cuanza Sul), involving over 400 children and nearly 40 local coaches.
The nine-day mission centered around a theoretical and practical “camp” in Calulo, a town located nearly a thousand meters above sea level in the Cuanza Sul province. There, over 100 boys and girls and their educators took part in a dedicated three-day course, featuring both on-field practice and classroom theory.
Thanks to a nearly twenty-year partnership with the Salesians of Angola and the hospitality of their homes across the country, the coaches spent entire days working with the Inter Campus delegation to develop educational strategies to better meet the needs of the young Inter Campus participants.
Being together, sharing moments of play, joy, and the exchange of different ideas represents the union of multiple cultures and the foundation for growth. This helps us keep pace with the evolving needs of children as society changes. These discussions take shape through on-field exercises that support the development of various age groups and the specific needs that each stage between childhood and adolescence brings.
This precise and profound work, which Inter Campus Angola continues to develop with its local educators, finds its fulfillment and purpose in the smiles of the many Angolan children who benefit from these activities.
