Asunción – After several months, the first phase of analysis on the development of children’s personality has concluded in Paraguay, focusing particular attention on two important parameters that form the character of boys and girls in the pre-adolescent age. These are motivation and optimism, fundamental elements not only on the field, but in everyday experiences, especially for those who find themselves tackling difficult daily challenges.

The aim of Inter Campus, all over the world, is to transmit life lessons on the field that are useful at school and at home, for example. In Asunción, in the landfill district of Cateura and in Zeballos Cue, with the support of AFASOP—the Association led by Julio Gonzalez that has accompanied us for many years—a comparative study was carried out between those who participate in the project and are therefore exposed to the Inter Campus methodology, and those who cannot benefit from it.

These are the first pieces of a broader study, which in recent days has already moved on to new parameters including emotional reactivity, stress, comfort, and support—significant aspects in the construction of social relationships and self-esteem. The first results show positive signs, and in a few months, the impact evaluation involving other European Clubs will be completed.
