Inter Campus’s mission in Romania began in Slatina, where the delegation met with Pirelli Romania CEO Davide Meda and other managers at the production plant offices for an update on the project’s progress. In addition to conducting training sessions and distributing jerseys to the children involved in the project, three guest teams played a series of friendly matches.

In the Romanian capital, the project with Parada continues at the “San Marcelin Champagnat” Child Protection Center, a facility established by the Marist brothers and managed by social educators for the benefit of approximately 30 minors. In Bucharest, in addition to the children entrusted to the facility by the local authorities responsible for child protection, the project also involves 15 other children from schools in the same neighborhood.

The three Inter Campus hubs in Ramnicu Valcea regularly continue their activities on their respective football pitches. Local representative Lidia Dobre (Inima pentru Inima foundation), local coordinator Alin Matei, and second coach Andrey ensure the continuity and quality of these activities.

A cold and rainy Sunday did not prevent a wonderful day in the gym, dedicated to sport as a tool for inclusion. Ukrainian children hosted at a facility in the small municipality of Calinesti participated in the recreational tournament with the Inter Campus teams, which were composed of children currently under the care of our local partner.

Once again, the support of our partner Pirelli proved fundamental for the positive outcome of the mission. Here is a video celebrating the local partnership: https://bit.ly/3EC9sm4
