MILAN – In football, there is no room for discrimination. We learned this in the classroom, during a series of educational outreach meetings focused on integration, and we apply it in life. We are all equals, both on and off the field, and our differences are opportunities to enrich us. We can find them in physical appearance, but also in tastes, passions, and sensibilities: they are chances to complete each other, not barriers.
At the end of the classroom activity, the students, along with their teachers and some chaperones, participated in a special evening, spent together at the San Siro stadium for Inter – Sassuolo. The result didn’t go in our favor, but it remains an unforgettable experience that concludes the “Show Racism the Red Card” project for the children, co-financed by the European Community.
