Beirut – One of the primary objectives of the Inter Campus project, aside from restoring the right to play to children living in adverse social situations, is increasingly to create stable, trusted relationships with parents and families. This is a fundamental tool for strengthening the educational nature of our mission: not just football, but above all growth through play and the acquisition and sharing of the values that sport promotes.
Thanks to the trust placed by parents in the project’s local coaches, it was possible to give a wonderful day to the girls from Shatila, who represented the black and blue colors at the finals of the second edition of the women’s tournament held in Tripoli.
The event represented not only a moment of joy and fun, but was also one of the very rare opportunities to leave the Palestinian refugee camp and get away for a day from the critical issues of a cramped place lacking child-friendly spaces.
